Getting back into the swing of things
The long and short of it was that I got out of a neglectful, quickly becoming gaslighty relationship earlier this year and things got unfathomably nasty. A lot of 2017 was spent in a situation where I couldn’t art very well. I’m now in a much better situation, with an incredibly supportive partner, but I’m struggling a lot.
I’m getting back into the swing of things. I’m healing, with the help of friends and family. Please be patient with me. Even if I can’t respond, comments and support mean a lot.
You guys are the best. Please be good to one another.

Adult Content
So, I’m wondering what you guys think of the possible inclusion of adult content in my galleries?
I’ve been here for 13 years, and have had so many things happen, both good, and bad. I’ve met kind, fun, people. And assholes. And creeps. And people who became friends. I have tried my best to avoid anything controversial (and failed sometimes). And I’ve learned that no matter what I make, someone will take offence to it, and another person will fap to the same thing.
With Eldritch ending, I have time to consider what I plan on doing in the future. Comics will happen sometimes, I know, but I think my graphic novel days are done. So, long story short… I’m thinking of sharing adult content, ranging from tasteful nudity, to intimate scenes inclusive of a variety of genders and sexualities (because equality rocks, yo), to less tasteful things, including fetishes some may not like. I’m considering this for a multitude of reasons… for one, guys, I have a BFA. I had to draw nekkid people all the time. Many classical works include nudity. I just do not find a nude form offensive, and I think people need to calm down a little. Another, I can mark things as adult content, and those who do not enable such content won’t even see it—no one has to see it if they don’t want to. In addition, frankly, while I am aware that some see erotic content as vulgar, or even amoral, I am of the opinion that it’s fairly harmless, and can even be beneficial. Furthermore… frankly, guys: Sex sells. Odds are, if I open up for commissions, I will be able to attract more customers if I’m able to produce such content. I’m an adult, and poor as hell.
My main galleries are here, and on Furaffinity, and I’m trying to figure out what to do… Post all the content everywhere (where allowed, I know DA is finnicky)? Leave DA squeaky clean and post all the adult stuff on FA? Or even make a separate, after-dark account (which seems silly because, well, people can just turn off adult content. Not hard…)? What are your thoughts on all of this, guys?
