Research hurr durr by Nashoba-Hostina Research hurr durr by Nashoba-Hostina
Yeah, I know, it's dumb. I'm allowed to post something dumb now and again.

This is a photo of one of the pages in my copy of Montegue Summer's The Werewolf in Lore and Legend. The majority of my werewolf books look like this, with highlighted bits, additional notes of translations or relevant info/where to look for similar info in other books, and little tabs at the top that mark pages with interesting info not listed in the index. Heck, Elliot O'Donnell's book doesn't even have an index. Needless to say, it has a LOT of tabs.

Most books I wouldn't dream of highlighting. But with manhy of my werewolf books, I kind of have to. They're my preciouses, yuss....

*squints and reads a few lines*

Hmm. Interesting. Hard on the eyes though.

*chuckles* It's not really meant for reading. Just for showing my silly researching habits.

I can never bring myself to write in or highlight my books. The post its are a good way to mark stuff/ add info for sure.

Incidentally, because my books don't have writing or highlighting, lol, I bet yours are a lot easier to find stuff in than mine. XD

It varies on the books for me. Most of mine are second hand anyway, and several of them had highlighting, marks and tears before I even got them. My nicer books though, they just get the tabbies that can't hurt anything.

Yes, they're definately mine. *chuckles with a playful eyeroll* I don't rewrite in a journal, per se, but I have word documents where I keep my notes.

I got that one at a used bookstore, but have seen it at Barnes and Noble and B. Dalton now and again.

Mostly second hand. Thrift stores, used book stores, library sales and the like. However, you can always look through Amazon.com for the books too.
