This has been done for a while, but I'm lazy and haven't been uploading like I should have been. Anyway, I've been toying back and forth with remaking my choker yet again, because, as I change, I change my choker. The previous versions are destroyed, and the peices cannableized to create a new one.

This past year changed who I am and my outlooks on life a great deal. Whether for the good or bad, I don't know. But, I finally decided it was time to change my choker.

Instead of the white beads, they are now primarily black horn beads, almost an inversion of the previous design. Green beads are used because I use green to represent myself. I like to use wooden beads, because trees represent growth and sturdiness through age to me. The Goldstone beads hearken back to a very important necklace that was broken shortly after things started changing dramatically for me. The metal beads are silver, my favorite metal. Both beautiful like moonlight, yet dangerous. The fangs... well, if you know me, you can figure that out. The feathers represent wings, and the centerpiece, the moon, with my signature glyph overlaid on top of it. In the middle of it, are several stones: blue and normal goldstone, malchite, lapis lazuli, amethyst, and moonstone. These are all very important, but I don't feel like going into it right now.

Regardless... my new choker. Woo.

Stunningly beautiful, Nash! Well done! I have a few quick questions for ya (I want some day to make a choker like this (not exactly of course) for myself) Can you wear this while say, Swimming or taking a shower? I need a water-proof idea for a nice, comfortable choker that can be worn all the time.

::choker high-five:: My choker can take getting wet now and again, but I wouldn't wear it in the shower every day. Eventually the water would hurt the wood and sinew. However, for your choker, I'd recommend using resin or stone beads in place of wood (bone and horn should be fine too) and using plastic cording available in most craft stores. If you can't get that plastic cording, some strands of fishing line would work just as well. And of course, try to use metals that don't corrode easily if you choose to have metal beads.

*takes notes* Okays that makes sence *nods* Any idea on where I can get a wolf related pendant for the center of it, right where your little glow in the dark bead is is where I'd like for my wolf pendant to be. Anything from a simple paw print to a head is fine with me ^^

I am the wolf who runs through the moonlit forest....
To be honest, I've never found a choker-styled center I've liked. Mostly, I just find the same tandy leather wild-west style stuff. I resorted to making my own out of colored and glow sculpey. I suppose you could try prowling ebay and various jewelry sites?

Thee moon doesn't actually rattle, sadly. But, gosh, ::Blushes:: I just take a lot of classes (college and all) and study different designs and techniques. That being said, as silly as it sounds, I have no paypal, so, no credit card stuff for me. I'm currently only a check and money order sort of gal.
