These wings won me a "best Hall Costume" award at Marcon 42.

Anywho, this is a pair of 'dancing wings" I made for myself a long while ago, that are meant to be heald at the "wrist" of the wing while dancing. Now.. keep in mind, my dancing reminds people of a dieing animal, so I need something flashy to keep people's attention from my failing footwork. They curl at the bottom so the white tips of the feathers closer to my body only show a little on one side... I also need to touch them up badly. For one, the detail regarding the 'barbs' of the feathers hardly shows at all at a distance, and for another, I think the arks need to be punched a bit... I dunno, meh. Regardless, here are my dancing wings!

Now I juts need to make a set that goes over my puppeted armature ;p

Wow, they are so cool!!! XD I want a pair... although my mom doesn't like it when I wear my cat ears round the house so I doubt I'd get to wear these alot :(

Did you use acrylic paints? It looks beautiful ^^ I must admit, I never did understand what these were for other then making a fursuit look even cooler XD
